THE ESTATE

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE
Philippe ORION founded the estate at the hamlet of "La Barbinière" in 1978, with just 2 hectares of vines inherited from his father, Louis.
His two sons, Vincent and Alban, raised in this passion for vines and wine, pursued studies in viticulture and oenology. Enriched by experience gained in various wine regions in France and abroad, they returned to the estate in 2005.
Chantonnay was granted the Fiefs Vendéens AOC designation in 2011.
Its distinctive feature is the greatest diversity of terroirs, resulting from Chantonnay carboniferous fault.
Since 2018, the estate has been farmed organically and now covers 30 hectares.

- THE GRAPEVINE -
