THE VINEYARD
45 years with passion
Philippe ORION established the estate at the hamlet of "La Barbinière" in Chantonnay 45 years ago.
Today, with a 30-hectare vineyard, Vincent and Alban ORION craft wines that reflect the diversity of the Chantonnay's terroirs:
authentic and distinctive wines .
Their philosophy naturally leads them toward Organic Farming . The wines have been certified organic since 2018
With a constant commitment to minimizing their environmental impact, every stage of the production cycle is approached with eco-conscious practices.
LE DOMAINE DE LA BARBINIERE
A family estate
The estate is located in the heart of Vendée bocage, close to the Atlantic Ocean, on hillsides of the Lay Valley in Chantonnay.
Its uniqueness lies in the diversity of its terroirs, shaped by the Chantonnay Carboniferous fault, which contributes to the complexity of the wines.
The estate produces wines in AOC Fiefs Vendéens and IGP Val de Loire specific to each terroir : white, rosé, red, traditional method, and a more "personal" range.
